511. テルメいづみ園, Izu ★★★ Visited for higaeri at 820 yen. Higaeri available from 10:00 to 21:30. Main outdoor stone bath with a view of the forest. Was there in the evening, it was raining and the atmosphere felt like sitting in the middle of a forest in complete wilderness. Looking up you could only see black sky and treetops. Photos hardly convey the atmosphere since it was dark and raining, but give some idea of the surroundings. Clear water, temperature 40-41. Shallow outdoor stone bath, clear water, temperature 38. Indoor bath with clear water, temperature 41-42. Breathing inside is good. Amazing place. Would recommend visiting at least in the evening to try and experience the same natural atmosphere I had. 09.05.2025
