View of the river and forest, but the fence is quite bulky and obstructs the view from inside the bath. Clear water, slight smell. Temperature was 46 one day and 42 the other. Indoor bath. Clear water, slight smell. Temperature was 41 one day and 44 the other. Breathable inside. A solid onsen. If the rotenburo fence were smaller or absent, it would be really cool, but it's still worth a stop when visiting Tosenji Onsen.
