Sodium Chloride spring

A sodium chloride spring of the low-temperature class (31.9 °C, heated for bathing). At pH 9.3 the water is distinctly alkaline and slippery on the skin, sitting on the edge of Japan's beauty-water family. The wellhead carries a faint sulfur note alongside salty and bitter tastes, and gas bubbles rise with the flow. Total dissolved solids of 1,953 mg/kg give it moderate mineral body.

520. 六郷の里 つむぎの湯, Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi Onsen for 800 (500 for locals). Operating hours are listed as 11:00 to 19:00 (closed Mon), may have additional days off during the week. They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book, but the stamp is almost completely worn out. Bath photos are from the internet, match the real thing. Indoor area. Breathing inside is fine. 1. Large bath with a bubble zone. Clear water, temperature around 43-44. 2. Small bath with clear water, temperature around 30. 3. Outdoor bath, basically no view.
