Spa Village Kamaya sits in the Yumoto Onsen area of Oku-Nikko, drawing its water directly from the Yunodaira (湯の平) wetland spring about 100 meters away. The water runs unheated and undiluted, arriving milky white with a distinct sulfur character. Both the indoor bath and the outdoor rotenburo come in men's and women's versions; there's also a private family bath that any guest can use free of charge by locking it from the inside, no reservation needed. Some rooms look out toward Maenashiro-yama (前白根山).
