Tabisomeya Yamaichi (旅染屋 山いち) is a small, all-tatami ryokan in Tsunagi Onsen (繋温泉), on the edge of Morioka. The spring is a faint sulfur water, run kakenagashi (源泉かけ流し) into both the indoor bath and the cooler open-air rotenburo (露天風呂). A private reserved bath is also available. The inn sits close to Gosho Lake and has the unhurried feel of a family-run place.
