Dinara
A ryokan with day-use bathing, with two different (!) source waters that are swapped around closer to midnight. It has a full Showa vibe, but everything is clean and fresh, although the staff seemed a bit low-energy (then again, who is energetic in August heat?), but they actively offered to help with taxis and buses (I did not need it, and they even seemed a little disappointed that they did not need to help). There is no view from the rotenburo, and it is closed at night from 22:00 to 6:00. The uchiyu are open almost all the time except for one hour at night for switching the onsen and cleaning them. The water is soft and pleasant, and it is easy to breathe there.
