A sodium chloride hot spring with bicarbonate softness layered in, emerging at 66.3 °C — among Japan's hottest natural sources, cooled before bathing. The salty, heat-retaining chloride character gives the water real body, while 64 mg/kg of metasilicic acid leaves a thin silica film that makes skin feel smoother afterwards.

393. Aoki Hot Spring, Kurume, Fukuoka Onsen for ¥600. Hours are listed as 10:00 to 22:00 (except Wed). They stamp the Kyushu 88 Onsen stamp rally. 1. Indoor area. Comfortable to breathe. 1.1. Main bath, the water is clear pale yellow, temperature 40. 1.2. Second bath, the water is clear pale yellow, temperature 43-44. 1.3. Cold bath. 2. Outdoor rectangular bath, the water is clear pale yellow, temperature 40. Overall, it is fine, but it did not really stand out. 11.01.2025
