The baths here run on Kawayu Onsen's sharply acidic sulfur water, fed straight from a spring 35 meters away with no recirculation. Inside, there are three temperature options in the main bath hall, from a cool soaking pool to a hot one, plus a fresh-water tub (mayu) for sensitive skin. The outdoor bath is open to both men and women. A free foot bath just outside the entrance is open around the clock. The building is older and shows it, but guests who come for the water quality tend to leave happy.
