536. Kaminoyu Onsen, Kai, Yamanashi ★ Visited for higaeri at 1000. Based on photos and online info, there are very interesting scenic private baths (didn't book them — needs a reservation in advance). Higaeri hours are listed as 11:00 to 23:00 (last entry 21:30). They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book. 1. Large indoor area. Breathing inside is comfortable. 1.1. Utaseyu (only 1 of 3 was working by button). 1.2. Small bath with clear water, temperature around 43. 1.3. Bubble bath (can be toggled on/off). Clear water, temperature around 42-43. 1.4. Bath with clear water, temperature around 42-43. 1.5. Bath with clear water, temperature around 41. 1.6. Large bath with a lounging zone. Clear water, temperature around 39. 2. Small outdoor bath in stone. Standing, there's a view of a garden through a fence, but sitting there's no view. Clear water, temperature around 40. The indoor bath is well-equipped. But the main attraction is the scenic private outdoor baths, which I unfortunately didn't get to try. 11.05.2025
