The mixed outdoor bath (Sennyo no Yu) is a separate pool a 7 to 10 minute forest walk from the main building, open in the daytime from May to early November. Bathing garments (yuami-gi) can be rented for 300 yen.
About
A mixed open-air bath (konyoku, 混浴) reached by a short forest walk from the Amihari Onsen hotel, about ten minutes through the trees with a waterfall audible the whole way. The water is milky blue, and the bath sits right in front of the falls with no roof overhead. There are no showers; if the water gets too hot, the river is right there. Seasonal closure in winter.
