Juraseki Onsen Churaumi no Yu (ジュラ紀温泉「美ら海の湯」) sits on the fifth floor of Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa, and the location earns its keep: the indoor bath, the semi-open rotenburo, and the sauna all look out over the open sea and Ie-jima (伊江島). The water is noticeably salty on the skin, drawn from deep Jurassic-era strata. Each of the two bath zones has a dry sauna and a steam sauna, with the zones swapping between genders daily.
