Very basic: 2 washing spots but reviewers disagree whether there is a tap at all — one 2025 review says no individual shower/faucet (water is scooped from the tub), a 2023 review says there is no shower but there IS a faucet dispensing hot-spring water plus shampoo/body soap; kept YES given washing spots exist either way.
Towels available to rent or borrow
No amenities/towels/yukata provided; a separate review mentions an original hand towel for sale at 900 yen (a purchase, not a rental).

About
A mountain lodge at the trailhead of Mt. Amakazari in Nagano, primarily used by hikers. The outdoor rotenburo is mixed-gender and set in the open air with mountain views. The indoor bath is small, with very basic facilities, no individual showers, water shared from the tub. The water is a sodium bicarbonate spring.
