130. Yamada Bessou, Beppu Visited for day-use bathing. Listed as available from 11 to 15, but there was cleaning until 14. Entry costs 500 yen, stamp available. One staff member speaks English well. Inside there's an old-school bath. Water is clear, temperature hot. Breathing is good. The bath is unremarkable for a hotel, and the day-use hours are rather inconvenient. If you don't need the stamps, this one can be skipped.
