The complex has two indoor baths at different temperatures, a jet bath, sauna, cold plunge, and an open-air rotenburo (露天風呂) that runs on free-flowing spring water. The water is a warm tea-brown color and leaves skin smooth after bathing. From the outdoor bath you can see the mountains with the Mogami River below. One local note: the Yamagata custom of wrapping a bath towel at the waist applies in the sauna. Open since 1993 under a town-run organization in Oishida, with a restaurant and large rest hall on site.
