A simple thermal spring led by bicarbonate, emerging hot at 43.6 °C. It is lightly mineralized at 792 mg/kg, gentle on the body, and weakly alkaline so it feels soft on the skin. A generous 117 mg/kg of metasilicic acid leaves the kind of thin silica film that makes skin feel noticeably smoother, placing it in Japan's beauty-water family.

526. Sakurayu, Showa, Yamanashi Onsen for 500. Operating hours are listed as 10:00 to 23:30. In the Yamanashi 100 Onsen stamp book they stamp a different stamp. On Saturday evening it was extremely crowded, nearly all the shower stations were occupied. Bath photos are from the internet, roughly match — I visited in the evening. 1. Indoor area. Breathing inside is tolerable. 1.1. Large bath with a lounging zone. Clear water with a yellowish tint. Temperature around 40. 1.2. First small bath. Clear water with a yellowish tint. Temperature around 43. 1.3. Second small bath. Clear water with a yellowish tint. Temperature around 43. 1.4. Bubble bath. Clear water with a yellowish tint. Temperature around 37-38. 1.5. Sauna. 1.6. Cold bath. 2. Outdoor bath, no view. Clear water; couldn't identify the tint in the evening. Temperature around 40-41. 10.05.2025
