A lightly mineralized simple cold-mineral spring (21.5 °C at the wellhead) that qualifies as an onsen on its metasilicic acid content. Total dissolved solids are a modest 0.479 g/kg and the water is weakly acidic and gentle on the body. With 94.4 mg/kg of metasilicic acid it sits in the Japanese beauty-water family, leaving a thin silica film that makes skin feel smoother. A faint hydrogen sulfide note rises at the source.

About

This day-use bathhouse in Kawachinagano has an open-air bath alongside several indoor tubs: a carbonated bath, a jet bath, a bubble bath, and a hotter soaking tub. The spring itself is a mild, low-mineral onsen water, gentle rather than intense. A cold plunge and three sauna types (infrared, salt, and steam) round things out, plus a separate heated-stone room, ganbanyoku (岩盤浴). Regulars call it a long-running neighborhood sento in the Minami-Kawachi area. It ran for years as Kaze no Yu (風の湯) before the whole group renamed it Oyuba in mid-2026, though the atmosphere inside is said to be unchanged: a restaurant, a rest area with manga to read, and free parking.
