Minamichita Yamami Onsen Shukukaifu

A Japanese-style inn (ryokan, 旅館) on the Chita Peninsula facing Ise Bay, with several types of baths including a rooftop open-air bath called Tenjo-no-yu (天上の湯, "heavenly bath"). Rooms are traditional tatami-style, the ocean view from the baths is a genuine draw, and the setting is pleasantly out of the way. The building is on the older side and not everything is pristine, but the combination of sea views, onsen water, and attentive service makes up for it.
