YesDay-use bathing available. Restaurant "Ran no Sato" has irregular closing days.
Adults 1,100 yen, junior high school students 1,030 yen, elementary school students 700 yen, ages 1 to preschool 250 yen. Face towel 220 yen (for purchase), bath towel 330 yen (rental). Hot spring tax 150 yen per adult (separate).

A ryokan at Akiu Onsen in the forested hills south of Sendai, with separate indoor and open-air baths for men and women. The spring water comes from the ryokan's own source and is clear with a gentle feel on the skin. The place is notably welcoming to families with small children. Day use is available, and a seasonal Finnish trailer sauna runs poolside in summer.
