About

The bath here is a single indoor tub. The spring water is clear and colorless, kept flowing in fresh rather than recirculating, and it runs properly hot, hot enough that a few visitors find it a bit much. Some people notice a faint silkiness to it, the kind of heat that stays with you well after you get out. About ten washing stations line the changing area, and the bathroom has a wall built from large stone. There's a sofa lounge to relax in afterward. It's an old-fashioned, slightly worn kind of place near the Hakuba Norikura ski slopes, run by a kind older couple that reviewers mention warmly.
