Yutorian has three bathhouses, each with indoor and open-air baths fed by free-flowing (kakenagashi, 掛け流し) spring water that leaves the skin noticeably smooth. The day-use bath, Hotaka-no-Yu (武尊乃湯), looks out at the Hotaka Shrine, founded in 1755. The two lodging-only bathhouses, Kobo-no-Yu (弘法乃湯) for men and Sato-no-Yu (里乃湯) for women, face garden courtyards with bronze sculptures. The property is large enough that guests move between wings by self-driving cart or a small monorail, and the corridors display a collection of antiques.
