Foot Bath
Jet BathA day-use onsen on the second floor of a harbor-side market building in Wakkanai, at Japan's northern tip. The outdoor bath looks directly over the port, and in winter the warm water paired with snowfall over the bay makes for a memorable soak. Inside there are hot and warm tubs, a jacuzzi bath, sauna, and cold plunge. Tattoos are welcome.

A great sento complex at the very northern tip of Japan. In the main area there are two hot baths with different temperatures, a cold bath with a sauna, and another hot bath outside under a roof, with lounge chairs. Visible tattoos are allowed. Outside the bath area, there is a large manga shelf, a relaxation area, and gacha. In the same building there is also a restaurant and the Karafuto Museum (the Japanese governorate in southern Sakhalin).
