Terrace Villa Eon sits in Shirahama, one of Japan's oldest hot-spring towns, with records stretching back to the Man'yoshu. The property has two independent villa units, each with a private onsen bath fed directly from Miyuki-gensen (行幸源泉), said to be the oldest spring in Shirahama, piped in as kakenagashi (free-flowing, not recirculated). The water is faintly salty and smooth on the skin. From the terrace of each unit you can see the white sand of Shirarahama beach and, on a clear evening, the sun dropping into the Pacific.
