The onsen has an outdoor zone, but there was no water in it. Photo of the indoor bath from the internet matches. Indoor baths. Breathing is fine. 1. Bath with clear brown, slightly cloudy water. Temperature around 44. 2. Cold bath with utaseyu (falling water). 3. Sauna. Not sure why the outdoor baths weren't working, but overall it's a decent addition to the neighboring onsen, though not as charming and without views. If choosing just one onsen in this area — go to the neighboring one.
