Adult ¥1,500, child (ages 3 to 12) ¥750, plus ¥330 for a towel rental. Prices rise to ¥1,800 adult and ¥1,000 child during Golden Week, summer, New Year and other peak periods. Free for guests staying at Le Grand Karuizawa Resort. Children still in diapers are not permitted. Last admission is 21:15.

Happu Onsen is a day-use bathhouse on the grounds of Le Grand Karuizawa Resort, with an indoor bath, an outdoor bath, a small tsubo-yu (壺湯, pot bath), a cold bath and a sauna. It draws a natural hot spring, unusual for the Karuizawa area, and the water feels smooth on the skin. The outdoor bath sits among trees, with light and color that shift through the day and leaves that turn in spring and autumn. A soba restaurant, Minori (実乃里), is right next door and open to day visitors, not just hotel guests.
