Sasayuri no Yu sits on a hilltop at 464 meters in Kushihara, a rural corner of Ena City in Gifu. The open-air bath is the main draw, with a wide mountain panorama that stretches out as the ridge fades into the distance. The water is mildly alkaline and notably soft on the skin. Indoors, the large communal bath is joined by a bubble bath, a jacuzzi, a medicated bath, and a sauna with a cold plunge. The two gendered bath halls, Akane no Yu (あかねの湯) and Moegi no Yu (もえぎの湯), rotate between the genders. A restaurant on site serves local Kushihara ingredients.
