Hanamatsuri no Yu sits in the forested hills of Oku-Mikawa (奥三河) in eastern Aichi. The baths run on kakenagashi, kept flowing fresh from the source, and the dedicated source bath is slightly cloudy from the spring water. A rock-built outdoor bath lets you soak under the open sky, and the indoor side adds a lying bath and a hip bath alongside the main tub. There is also a sauna. A tatami rest room and a restaurant are on-site. Just behind the building, a short walkway leads to Tsuta-no-Fuchi (蔦の渕), a waterfall the locals call the Niagara of Oku-Mikawa.
