About

This is a small town-run bathhouse on the Kii Channel coast in Hidaka, with indoor and outdoor baths that face the water. The lobby and bathing area both look west over the bay, so an evening soak can end with watching the sun go down. The spring water is clear and mildly salty, gentle on the skin. Besides the two main tubs there is a jet bath, and a family bath you can reserve for a private soak. A restaurant next door serves fish landed at the local port.
