A wild open-air bath at the base of Tokiwa Falls (常布の滝) in Gunma. The approach is a serious mountain scramble with chains, steep terrain, and genuine hazard, not somewhere to wander into unprepared. The water is highly acidic and the flow from the falls can make the temperature unpredictable. The reward is a bath in a dramatic gorge setting.
