Ryobu no Taki

A pair of remote hot spring waterfalls deep in the Nasu backcountry, about two hours' hike from the Numa-ga-hara trailhead. The water runs reddish-brown from its mineral content, iron-rich spring water feeding a true wild onsen (noyu, 野湯) beneath the falls. Very little information exists about this place; getting there is an adventure in itself.
