Kuaterume Hosenbou (クアテルメ宝泉坊) is a health-resort complex run by Seiyo City in the forested hills of Ehime. The bathing area has a rotenburo (open-air bath), indoor pools at two temperatures, a sauna, and a cold-water plunge that reviewers describe as genuinely cold. A separate 14-zone balneo pool adds targeted water jets for different muscle groups, available for an extra fee. The building uses timber throughout, giving it a warmer feel than most purpose-built facilities. There is also a restaurant serving game dishes (jibier) and a rest area on-site. Private family baths can be reserved by phone.
