About

A natural open-air bath on the Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road, where the spring rises from the riverbed with Ubagataki (姥ヶ滝) waterfall directly in front. Ubagataki is one of Japan's 100 famous waterfalls, its thin white threads falling down bare rock. There is also a foot bath beside the rotenburo. Bathing is mixed-gender, with no changing facilities, and reaching it takes about 15 minutes on foot along a trail from the Jadani-enchi (蛇谷園地) parking area.
