332. Yurara-no-yu, Nara Super sento with natural hot spring water for 850-910. Located 15 minutes by car or 60 minutes by public transport (with inconvenient transfers including 20-30 minutes walking) from Nara station. Operating hours listed as 09:00-24:00 (Mon-Fri) and 07:00-24:00 (Sat-Sun). They stamp the 41 Kansai Super Sento stamp rally 24/25. Has massage, restaurant, barber shop, and massage chairs. The water composition sign was only inside the onsen. Bath sets rotate M/F weekly: Tropical Bali-style and Pure Japanese style. I had the second one during my visit. Bath photos from the internet, partially match — in person the rotenburo picture is more cohesive and looks even more impressive. 1. Outdoor area is really amazing. An artificial waterfall flowing into a mini pond that surrounds the entire bath zone. All of it looks very cohesive and pleasant. 1.1. Large stone bath, slightly cloudy water, temperature around 40. 1.2. Small stone bath, slightly cloudy water, temperature around 40. 1.3. Small square bath by the waterfall, clear water, temperature around 38. 1.4. Resting zone behind the mini pond (no water in the zone itself). 1.5. Sauna. 2. Indoor area. Breathing is fine. 2.1. Bath with jet, clear water, temperature around 40. 2.2. Carbonated bath with old regulars. 2.3. Sauna. 2.4. Steam sauna. 2.5. Cold bath. Very impressive rotenburo for a super sento, plus M/F bath set rotation. Definitely recommended for a visit.
