About

Toki-no-irodori (季乃彩) is a full-scale day-use bathing complex in the western Tokyo city of Inagi. The natural spring water, drawn from 1,700 meters underground, flows unkept (kakenagashi, かけ流し) in the outdoor rock bath and the outdoor lying bath, leaving the skin noticeably smooth. Beyond those, the lineup covers carbonated spring baths, a jet-and-electric bath, a cold plunge, two saunas (an auto-louyu style and a herb steam mud-salt type), and a four-room ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) suite with seasonal themes. A restaurant, several rest lounges, and body-care services round out a stay of a few hours.

Inagi Tennen Onsen Toki no Irodori 206-0803 Tokyo, Inagi, Koyodai, 6 Chome-13 Great onsen! Weekend ticket is 1100 per person. Inside: sauna, salt hammam, cold bath, 2 mineral water baths, jet bath, relaxation bath with white water. Outside: 2 hot baths, a floor with flowing water where you lie down (not sure what it's called), and the main attraction — a bath with lemons. That impressed me the most — very pleasant and aromatic! The complex is pretty big — spacious rest area, massage chairs, restaurant. Restaurant prices are average for these places: dishes around 1000-1300, beer 600. Tasty, nicely presented. From the rotenburo there are views if you stand on your tiptoes. The men's side probably has views without the tiptoes. Experience shows that the Japanese like to deprive only women of the views.
