403. Yagurumaso, Asakura, Fukuoka Visited for higaeri for 700. Higaeri hours stated as 10:00 to 20:00. Private bath advertised at 2,000 (didn't take it). They stamp the 88 Onsen of Kyushu book. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Inside a large hangar-like building, there are two stone baths with a green bumpy floor and clear water. I don't have exact temperature notes, but there was nothing extreme — probably standard 40-42. The visual is unusual, as on one hand they brought in stones to build it, but on the other hand the warehouse atmosphere is fully preserved. In the outdoor zone there was another bath, but without water. An unusual place — if you're nearby, worth a visit for the experience.
