Shogawakyo Nagasaki Onsen Kitaharaso

A traditional ryokan tucked into the Shogawa gorge, one of the quieter onsen valleys in Toyama. The interior surprises, a grand cypress-columned lobby and carefully designed open-air baths belie the modest exterior.
