702. Kansai Airport Spa Hotel Garden Palace, Izumisano, Osaka (pt.1) ★ Stayed overnight, didn't get food. The hotel is 15 minutes by car from Kansai Airport (KIX). The hotel has regular rooms, but there's also an option to book an entire Japanese house for about 20,000 yen. On TripAdvisor it was listed as 75 square meters, but in reality the whole building is about 50 sqm (which is still decent). It's a separate standalone house located next to the hotel building. From the outside it looks like a business hotel, but the staff seemed very attentive and warm — possibly one of the business owners was there. Nicely decorated inside, with a small koi pond by the hotel entrance. The onsens are in the main hotel building. There's a rotation of baths between men and women. Private baths are available, but I didn't book one. A solid place. Worth keeping in mind when choosing accommodation near KIX, but better to book a regular room. The house makes sense for a large group or if you want that kind of experience. 15.11.2025 16.11.2025
