Jet BathBetsukai's municipal day-use bathhouse sits on a low hill above the town center, looking out over sports grounds and a campground below. The water is a moor spring, drawn straight from the source, with a dark tea-brown color from plant matter in the ground; people here say it's kind to the skin. Along with the outdoor bath there's an indoor tub, a jet bath, a bubble bath, a cold plunge, and a hot sauna. It's a plain, well-used community spot with a small rest area and about 50 parking spaces, more a local fixture than a destination bath.

For anyone with their own car who likes driving around Hokkaido :) No detailed review, but there are lots of photos at the link. Price 510 yen. Usually associated with a ski resort nearby. I haven't been there in ages, but in the women's section there should be an outdoor hot pool in a beautiful garden, and a waterfall-style water massage (you sit outside on a rock and water from above massages your back). Things may have changed since then.
