Yahho Hot Springs

八峰の湯 Yahho no yu — higaeri in Koumi. Water is neutral, yellowish with brown sediment. Calcium, magnesium, sodium + tansan. Women's side has two indoor baths: 39.5°C and 42.5°C. Nice mountain view from the indoor baths. There's a sauna and 2 cold baths. The outdoor bath has a view of a fence, but if you move to the chair beside the bath you can see the mountains. They claim 100% gensen. The outdoor and hot baths have a slight chlorine smell. For 500 yen you can access the ganbanyoku: it's nice there, not too hot, and smells of wood. A pleasant feeling of warming up to the bone. There's a shop, restaurant, and massage chairs. P.S. Bought birch sap (from Russian birch trees, mind you), but it turned out to be sweet.
