562. Hotel Hana Isawa, Fuefuki, Yamanashi ★ Visited for higaeri at 1650 yen (they give a towel set and a disposable toothbrush with toothpaste). Higaeri hours are from 14:00 to 18:00. Baths rotate between male/female. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book. There's a shuttle bus between three partner hotels with higaeri: Isawa View Hotel, Hotel Hana Isawa, and Kasugai View Hotel. Bath photos from the internet. Outdoor bath in stone. There's one utaseyu. The bath is behind a fence with no view, but it's cozy overall. Water is clear, temperature around 41°C. Indoor bath with clear water, temperature around 42°C. Breathing inside is tolerable.
