An alkaline simple thermal spring at pH 9.0, gentle and soft on the skin. Lightly mineralized at around 396 mg/kg of dissolved solids, it is clear, colorless, tasteless and odorless, with little chemical sharpness. The alkalinity gives the slippery feel of the Japanese beauty-water family, making it a pleasant, undemanding soak.
