YesThe bathhouse is closed on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month (the following day if that Monday is a public holiday). Last entry for bathing is 9:20 PM.
Discount for persons with disabilities: 200 yen per visit. Coupon books of 15 tickets: 4,000 yen for adults, 2,000 yen for children. The footbath is free to use.

A plain, well-used day-use bathhouse a minute's walk from JR Aso Station. The indoor bath has a sauna and a cold plunge, and the outdoor bath has a waterfall shower, utaseyu (打たせ湯), that's lit up at night and faces a stand of trees. The water is brown and soft, kept flowing fresh from the source, with a smooth feel on the skin. A free footbath and a small rest room looking onto the garden round it out. It's popular with locals for a quick, cheap soak rather than a tourist stop.
