About

A small coastal ryokan on Awaji Island's western shore, looking out over the Harima Sea. Bathing was simple: one indoor bath and one outdoor bath, both kept on the cool side, plus a small jet bath, drawing on a natural radium (radon) spring that's rare along this part of the Seto Inland Sea coast. The main bath switched between the men's and women's sides rather than being shared, and some guest rooms faced the water directly.
