A sodium-led bicarbonate spring with a salty chloride edge, of the classic jūsō-sen (soda-water) family. At the source the water carries a faint yellow-brown tint, a slightly salty taste, and a faint hydrogen sulfide note. With 153.7 mg/kg of metasilicic acid it leaves the kind of silica film that makes skin feel noticeably smoother afterwards.

524. Yudenkan, Chuo City, Yamanashi ★ Super sento with onsen water for 950 (includes a towel set rental). Operating hours are listed as 10:00 to 22:00 (closed Tue). They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book, but the stamp is almost completely worn out. Has a restaurant, shop, chill zone, manga, and massage. Bath photos are from the internet, match the real thing. 1. Indoor area. Breathing inside is fine. 1.1. Bubble bath with two jets. Clear, slightly murky brown water, temperature around 40. 1.2. Bath with clear, slightly murky brown water, temperature around 43. 1.3. Two cold baths. 1.4. Sauna. 2. Small outdoor bath in stone behind walls. No outward view, but within the walls there's a view of some trees and rocks. Clear, slightly murky brown water, temperature around 40. Decent place with interesting water. 10.05.2025
