The main draw at Hotel Matsushima Taikanso is the outdoor bath, which sits high above the bay and gives an open view of the Matsushima coastline. Inside, there are separate large baths for men (Hanganno-yu, 判官の湯) and women (Shizuno-yu, 静の湯), along with a sauna and cold bath. Note that the baths use heated tap water, not natural hot-spring water. Day use is available.
