587. Takane-no-yu, Hokuto, Yamanashi ★ Onsen with a view of Mt. Fuji through glass for 830 yen (410 for locals). Operating hours from 10:00 to 22:00. They stamp the Yamanashi 100 Onsen book. Bath photos from the internet match reality. Indoor area. View of Mt. Fuji through glass. The view itself is decent, but the foggy and slightly dirty glass makes it worse in practice. A bit stuffy inside. 1. Main bath with clear water, temperature around 41-42°C. 2. Bath with bubbles and a reclining zone. Clear water, temperature around 41-42°C. 3. Area with three utaseyu. 4. Sauna. 5. Cold bath. The place itself is on the weaker side, but a view of Fuji is a view of Fuji, even through imperfect glass. 15.05.2025
