Visited the bath complex Moriyamayumotosuishun on Lake Biwa. Cheap, cheerful, I really liked it. Lots of different baths with a view of Lake Biwa: you can look at Biwa sitting, lying down, reclining, perched on a tub like a seagull... Or you can skip the view and, say, sleep: there are two types of bed-like baths here with different water levels. And to wake up after your nap, you can visit the electric bath: it zaps you so merrily and vigorously that after two jolts you feel like a downed Imperial stormtrooper from Star Wars. On the downside - the women's side has the best part of the view blocked by a fence as usual, so you either peek at the lake through the gap under it or admire it while standing. Also, if you have tattoos, are connected to a criminal syndicate, or are simply a drunk mess, unfortunately you won't be welcome here.
