A simple thermal spring led by sodium and bicarbonate. At pH 7.8 it is mildly alkaline and soft on the skin, with the slightly slippery feel that places it near Japan's beauty-water family. Lightly mineralized at 361 mg/kg of dissolved solids, it is gentle on the body and easy for long, unhurried soaks.

324. Senshu Onsen, Osaka
Modern onsen 15 minutes from Kansai Airport for 800-1000. Operating hours listed as 07:00-24:00. It used to be marked on Google Maps as Aqua Ignis, but recently it's listed only as Senshu Onsen and I didn't see any Aqua Ignis branding. They stamp the 41 Kansai Super Sento stamp rally 24/25 (the name change didn't affect it). Has a restaurant, massage chairs, and chill zone. Bath photos from the internet, matches reality.
1. Outdoor bath with a bay view, clear water, temperature around 39. The fence, while reasonable, significantly obstructs the beautiful view — in person it feels weaker than in photos.
2. Indoor bath, clear water, temperature around 40. Breathing is easy.
3. Sauna.
4. Cold bath with blue water.
Overall a decent place, but expectations based on photos and the Aqua Ignis brand were higher. The outdoor bath doesn't quite deliver on the view due to the fences. Also noticed an increase in tourists from the airport. Convenient to stop by on the way to/from the airport, but it looks more interesting to go a bit further to a more compelling place.
