About
The eighth-floor bath here, Aki-no-yu (安芸の湯), isn't hot-spring water: the sister Dormy Inn ANNEX one block away is billed as a real onsen, but this building's own site never claims one for its bath. What you get instead is a solid city hotel bath: an indoor tub, a two-tier dry sauna with auto-loyly, and a chiller-cooled cold plunge, on both the men's and women's sides. The men's bath adds two semi-open-air tsubo baths done in Hiroshima colors, one red for the Carp, one purple for Sanfrecce; the women's bath has no open-air option. It's a plain business hotel in Komachi, Naka-ku, near the Chuden-mae (中電前) streetcar stop and an easy walk from the Peace Memorial Park area and the Hondori arcade. Like every Dormy Inn, it puts out the free late-night ramen for guests. The bath is for hotel guests only: day-use bathing isn't offered here.
