About

Gokuraku-yu Ibaraki is an Osaka branch of the nationwide Gokuraku-yu day-spa chain. The outdoor rock bath and the indoor bath are both filled with real onsen water that's warm and distinctly salty on the skin. There's also a jet bath, a men's electric bath, and a cold plunge, plus two saunas, one with automatic steam bursts (loyu) and a milder, lower-temperature steam room. A restaurant, game corner and manga corner sit alongside the baths, and the place regularly runs anime merchandise collaboration events that bring in fans along with the usual neighborhood crowd.
