About

The centrepiece is a large indoor rock bath, with a long rock-lined rotenburo outside that looks out over the river. The water runs fresh from the spring without recirculation, slightly slippery and carrying visible mineral flakes. The building is a Showa-era structure raised on stilts above the water, and the spring here is the only one in Aichi Prefecture listed in Japan's Top 100 Famous Hot Springs (Nihon Hyaku Meito, 日本百名湯). A sauna and cold bath are also available.
